About:
Dr. Gerald Pierone, Jr. is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Whole Family Health Center. He is also the Vice-Chairman of The Pierone Research Institute, the research arm of Whole Family Health Center. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Brunswick, New Jersey. His research interests include HIV therapeutics, HIV-related metabolic complications, and COVID-19 therapeutics. He also maintains a private medical practice in Vero Beach and is a member of the American Society of Microbiology, the Infectious Disease Society of America, and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
